The Village
Pöckau is a small village in the Gailtal – the Gail Valley – a beautiful area in Southern Austria with views of Dobratsch mountain and Dreiländereck (three-countries-corner).
Pöckau is well connected, with its own train station just five minues walk from Pöckau 1, offering easy access to Villach, the rest of Austria, Italy and Europe.
There is also a regular bus service that connects Pöckau to the other towns in the region.

Pöckau has its own local bar and restaurant - Pizzeria Ziegelei – (just ten minutes' walk from Pöckau 1) known by the locals for its pizza who come to enjoy the crackling log fire in winter, and the sunny terrace in summer.
